Zach's First Car!

This is the funnest car! Anyone with a 1 year old should have one. Zach loves it!!! It is soo quiet and has the cutest little horn. If Zach is outside, he is in his car.

Toy Sale

Kayli and Tyler had a toy sale the other day while I was working. What a fabulous idea! It is easier for them to go through their toys and get rid of stuff, than me. I just wish they would have picked out a lot more to sell. Tim helped them set it up, Kayli made signs and set up all the toys they wanted to sell. Tyler got bored quickly but Kayli sat out there for awhile with her friend Berklee. Some of the neighbor kids came by, the Primary President came by and a couple of people with kids driving by stopped by and bought a few things. I think Kayli had a great time sitting out there. I say next time we just let people go through the toys in the playroom. Ha Ha. We have way too many toys at this house!

Spring!!!

Easter afternoon we went to the park by our house to fly our kite. Kayli loved flying it, and Tyler wasn't too sure about it, he didn't want to hold it, just watch. It was a perfect day for flying a kite, typical Draper wind. Then the kids played on the playground for awhile. It was a fun afternoon with the sun actually shining, yeah!
Kayli flying the kite...she ran so far away, it is hard to see her.

Easter

Easter morning the kids were soo excited to see what was in their Easter Baskets. Kayli and Tyler's baskets were full of lots and lots of candy, mostly chocolate of course, sidewalk chalk, fun slides, shirts, bubble bath and a bunch of fun little things. Zach got a cute little outfit, a wheel barrow he can push around, and a little bit of candy that Tim and I will probably end up eating. We had sticky buns for breakfast and then off to church by 9:00 a.m.

Zach on Easter morning, this is the best smile I could get from him.

On Saturday Tim took Kayli and Tyler to his parent's house for their Easter "get together." I stayed home with Zach cause he was sick. The weather didn't cooperate so they had an Easter Egg Hunt at Aunt Michelle's house and then after all the cousins sat in a circle and rolled eggs hard boiled eggs into each other, instead of rolling them down a hill. Then they had a nice dinner after. I was jealous of the meal...I ended up having cereal.
Kayli and Tyler with their cousin's Greyson, Brook and Alyssa and Tori rolling eggs into each other, I guess it was pretty messy but Tim said they had fun!

On Friday night we decorated Easter eggs with the kids...

all done!

Easter gifts from Grandma Janet...Grandma came down one afternoon to play with the kids and give them their Easter bags. Kayli got a really pretty dress, the boys got an Easter outit and then Grandma gave them sandbox toys, and lots of candy.

Zach's First Birthday!

Today we celebrated Zach's 1st Birthday. I know he didn't understand what was going on, but we made it his special day anyway. Tim and I had decorated the night before, and he sat and pointed to it all when I brought him down hall. He loved the balloons. We had family over that evening for dessert and to watch Zach open presents. What a fun day for him! This past year has gone by so fast, it is hard to believe. We are so lucky to have such a happy, sweet, loving, adorable little boy in our family!

Zach's birthday breakfast...I always put a candle in their pancake and of course Zach not wanting to eat anything picked it up and threw it and it landed in Kayli's lap.

Fire Truck from Grandma and Papa Hall

I made Zach a cute little teddy bear cake and I decided that I wanted to make something else for dessert since we have had so much birthday cake with all the family birthdays in the last few months, so I made Chocolate Trifle. It was so yummy!

Zach wasn't too sure what to do with this cake, and everyone was just standing around him...staring. He hasn't had much of an appetite, not even for cake. I guess cause he has 6 teeth coming in right now. Poor little guy.

Zach wanted nothing to do with his cake, so this is what he did with it.

All the family...

Zach's First Haircut

I took Zach to Cookie Cutters to get his first haricut today. He wasn't very happy about it, which is not like Zach. He is usually the happiest baby on earth. He cried the whole time. He didn't even want the sucker he was given to try to cheer him up. The stylist was able to cut it, and he looked so handsome after. Sorry I made you go through that Zach!
