Zach and Paige

Paige (Zach's cousin 1 day younger than him) took Zach for a little ride on this Power Wheels 4 wheeler. Someone taped the power button so it will just go and go. They loved it. Neither one of them wanted to get off. Aren't they just so cute!

Kayli's Kindergarten Fun!

Kayli had her first school report on Thursday. It was a report on their favorite animal. Kayli chose a giraffe of course. It was fun to help Kayli put it together and she did such a great job. It was fun to go and watch all the cute little Kindergarteners in her class do their report.

On Friday it was Kayli's Kindergarten Field Trip to Hogle Zoo. I went with and took Tyler and Zach along. They loved looking at all the animals. The weather was crazy... rainy, sunny, raining, sunny, cloudy, hot.

Zach's first surgery...

Tuesday Zach finally got tubes put in his ears. Poor little guy has had soo many ear infections since November. I was really looking forward to this day. He had the surgery up at Primary Children's. It went well and I am so glad that it is a very quick procedure. It was so hard to hand him over to the anesthesiologist and watch him being taken away. Luckily he was gone only a few minutes. I just have to say I love having Primary Children's Hospital so close, they take such good care of kids and they make not so fun things, a little more easy for the patient and the parents. Zach did so good, and he woke up from the anesthesia really well, and you would never have guessed he had anything done. He had his adorable little smile on his face when we walked in the recovery room to see him.

Zach waiting in preop in his funny little hospital pj's.

Zach playing while waiting for his turn, they have toys everywhere...good thing cause there is a lot of waitng.

Rainy Day Bowling!

Tim and I took the kids bowling yesterday. It was a lot of fun. We all had a good time, great family fun when it is pouring rain and can't play outside.

If Tyler didn't hit most of his pins down he would get so mad and yell "I hate bowling." I guess he needs a lesson on good sportsmanship.

Kayli did really good, even bowling her ball the right way.

Kayli with her pink ball, of course...no other color would do.

Zach was totally entertained the whole time. He loved all the balls and tried and tried to lift them up.

Zach would clap after each time someone bowled. He is just so cute!

Countdown to Mexico

Tim's parents are taking all of the family to Mexico for a big family vacation in July. Kayli and Tyler keep asking "Are we going to Mexico tomorrow." So I made this little countdown for them so they have a better idea when we are going. They get excited to take a ring off everyday. I thought it might make the wait more fun for them!

It gets even better...3 days after we get home from Mexico we leave for another vacation with all of my family. My dad has a time share in Midway, so another week of relaxing, swimming, Heber Creeper, boating, etc.

This and That

Here are just a few pictures I have taken lately.

At Riverton Park last weekend...

This is the kids' little friend. It comes around all the time looking for the kids to feed her. She is pretty friendly, and will get pretty close to you. Kayli and Tim feeding her bread.

Kayli did this...good thing Zach is so easy going.

I went outside to get Kayli to come in for dinner and this is how I found her, sitting on her little chair in the sun reading, with my sunglasses on. Everyday I wonder what kind of teenager she is going to be, she acts like a 6 year old going on 16. The other day she came into the kitchen for dinner and she was listening to her Ipod and wouldn't put it down while we ate. She makes me laugh.
