A very Springy day!

Yesterday was such beautiful day. We spent the whole day outside and I loved every minute of it. Tim and I did yard work in the backyard while the kids played. Then we got all the bikes out and rode them around the neighborhood and on the trails by our house. Then I took Kayli in the bike trailer up to get pizza for dinner. That was a great workout riding up hill the whole way pulling her, but the ride home was a lot of fun. We ate dinner out on our deck and spent the rest of the evening playing outside. What a great day, I LOVE SPRING!!!!!!

Our little climber

Tim dumped a bucket of water off the top deck and most of it hit Zach, poor little guy!

Horrible Strep!

This is a picture of what Tyler and Kayli have been doing the last 1 1/2 weeks. Tyler and Kayli both got strep and it wiped them out. We thought Zach had it, but Zach seemed to be OK after a few days. I think this is our first experience with strep and it was a lot worse than I thought it would be. Luckily they are doing better, but still not 100%. I think the hardest part of being a mom is having sick kids!

Zach is DefInEtLy TwO!

Our "baby" turned two. It is still hard to believe he is getting so big so fast, although his personality has TWO written all over it. He is full of energy, crazy, silly, destructive and just so darn cute! He makes us all laugh, and makes me tired as well. He is such a sweet little boy and we are so lucky to have him part of our family. We love our little Zach Jack soooo much!

I was a little nervous that Zach wouldn't hold still long enough to get any cute pictures of him, but we lucked out...again. He was a lot of fun to watch him during his photo session. He made us laugh the entire time. What a goofy little boy!

Kayli's First Soccer Game

This was Kayli's first Soccer Game last Thursday. She was so excited to play, and of course wear the uniform & cleats. This was such a fun game to watch. She is a very fast and aggressive player. I guess she has a little bit of her mom's athletic blood in her :-) She almost made a goal, but the goalie stopped it. Next game for sure! She did such an awesome job. We were very proud of her. We look forward to her other games. Go Sharks!

It's Not Summer, Yet...

Kayli and her friend Berklee came to me and asked if they could put their swimsuits on and go outside to layout and get a tan, it was 59 degrees outside, so of course I said no, it is still too cold. So they decided to lay out in the family room instead. Tyler and Zach decided to join them. Funny kids!

Zach turns 2!

Yesterday was Zach's 2nd Birthday. It is hard to believe he is 2 already! For his Birthday we got him his very own Power Wheels 4 Wheeler, a Jumpolene Bounce Ring and his own little "Cars" chair. He was excited to see the decorations and Balloons when he woke up, but didn't realize it was all for him. Kayli and Ty didn't have school so they got to play all day together. We had a party that evening for Zach and his cousin Paige who turns two the next day. We had family over to watch them open their presents and we had cupcakes (I tried a new recipe for Jello poke cupcakes, yummy) brownies, Lemon bars and Dream bars for Birthday Dessert. Zach got books, a Mack "Cars" Carrying Case, a magnet dress up Joey, Elmo DVD, and an outfit with $. He loved all his presents. Thank you everyone! I am pretty sure he had a really fun day!

Easter

The Easter bunny came to our house and brought chocolate and candy, a few "favorite things" for each kid, Kayli and Tyler got new PJ's and Zach got a cute outfit. We had YUMMY cinnamon rolls for breakfast, watched a DVD about the Resurrection and spent the morning and afternoon watching Conference and then in the afternoon we went to Grandma and Papa Hall's for an Easter Egg Hunt with the cousins and a yummy dinner. Then played games and visited. It was a very nice Easter.

Spring Break in Moab

I took the kids to Moab to see my sister and her kids for their Spring Break. We had a great time and would like to have stayed longer. We went hiking, the kids played on the rocks, we decorated Easter sugar cookies, the kids had an Easter Egg Hunt on the side of the mountain in the rocks, we made a fort out of hay bails for the kids to play in, we went to see some baby bunnies at a neighbors house, and the kids played, played & played. Kayli and Tyler both had their turn at taking a fall down the rocks. Tyler has a big scab on his chin, and a few briuses and Kayli got a few small scrapes. I told Ty it makes him look tough. It was such a fun few days. The kids loved it!
