Hall Family 24th of July BBQ and Fireworks

 After being in Logan we went to Tim's parents Hall family BBQ and Fireworks 24th of July celebration. We had burgers and salads for dinner and the cousins played and rode bikes, then we had a Fireworks Derby. We were out of town and forgot about making a car so Tim and Tyler threw it together last minute. A fountain on a matchbox car. They were 3rd to last place, but hey...it did pretty good and it wasn't last place. Next year we will win! When it got dark we did our own sparklers and fireworks show and had dessert. The kids always have a great time with their cousins, but they were exhausted by days end.

24th of July 2012 in Logan

 We had such a fun time with my family up in Logan for the 24th of July. The first day my mom and I took Jenn's kids and Jeff and Sara's kids with my kids to Mack Park in Smithfield to play in the river. It is such a fun place to play. They built dams, played with boats and just played up and down the little river and we also had a pizza picnic. I got stung by a bee, OUCH! I forget how bad they hurt. My cute niece Jessi came to my aid with mud to put on it and that took away the pain. Thanks Jessi...what a smart little girl! My childhood friend Amy, who lives in Smithfield, came by with her kids to play with us. It was fun to see her and catch up.

After the river we went to Aggie Ice Cream for ice cream cones. Yum! Then after dinner the cousins all got together for nigh tgames. The next morning was the North Logan parade. For a few years we have been in the parade riding on Grandpa Randy's train, but this year we decided to watch it and load up on candy which is exactly what the kids did. I couldn't believe all the candy they got.

After the parade we went to Uncle Merrit's Barn to swing. The kids love the barn. They are a lot more daring than I have ever been. They will stand on top of 2 boxes on the loft to swing off. They had a great time! After swinging we went to a BBQ at Grandpa Randy and Grandma ReNae's. Thanks for the yummy lunch! It was a fabulous few days cram-packed with lots of fun!

Swimming at Grandma Janet's

 We went swimming at Grandma Janet's pool on Tuesday with cousins Kitara and Scout. It was a beautiful day, and the water was perfect. We had the pool all to ourselves for the majority of the day. Everyone had so much fun and we all got plenty of sun!

 Zach is hilarious. He thinks he can do anything the big kids can do. He is a fish just like his brother and sister. He loves the water and has no fear.

Cowabunga Bay

Yesterday my sister Jenn, and her kids and my mom came down and we spent the day at Cowabunga Bay. Kayli, Tyler and Zach always have so much with their cousins. It was such a great day full of crazy fun!

Camping

Tim has the week off so we went camping for a few days this week up to Spruces. We lucked out and got an awesome spot! It was shady, had a stream to play in, lots of trails to walk, and lots of space. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the stream with boats and toys, we went on lots of walks and hikes, roasted hot dogs and s'mores, and did dutch oven one night when Tim's parents came up.  This was probably one of my favorite camping trips, and I think everyone would have to agree!

 

 We hiked to Donut Falls one morning. It was a fun little hike. When we got there, Zach asked where the donuts were. He makes us laugh!
