Johnny Appleseed

Friday was Johnny Appleseed day in the 2nd grade @ Kayli's school. They could dress up to look like Johnny Appleseed if they wanted to. Kayli was very excited. I got an old shirt of Tyler's, a pair of Tyler's jeans with holes and cut the bottoms off. She used a branch and we tied a handkerchief to it. I didn't have a pan that would fit her head so in just a few minutes before the bus came I hurried to make her one out of gray scrapbook paper. She looked great! They had a costume contest at school and Kayli got second place. I thought that was pretty good. She had a fun day, and that's what matter most.

"Ball Chutes"

Tim saw this idea in a magazine and decided he would do it for our kids, so on Saturday Tim added "ball chutes" to our play set in the backyard. Then we bought the kids a bag of 100 colored balls to use with them. The kids have had so much fun playing with the balls.

Zach

Here are just some pics of Zach I have taken lately. He is such a cute (and goofy) boy!

Zach always wakes up with the craziest hair. It makes me laugh every morning when I see him.

Zach LOVES bath time, one day he wanted to take a bath so he could play with his toys and a boat, but I couldn't sit and watch him in the bath tub then so I filled up the sink. He played in there for at least an hour and half. He just kept going to get more and more toys to play with. Great entertainer!

Zach watching Saturday morning cartoons!

Tyler took this picture of Zach while playing in the van.

Just me and the kids...

Tim went away for a weekend with "the guys" up to a friends cabin @ Pineview to go boating and do guy stuff. So I tried to come up with some fun things to do with the kids. Friday night we went to our ward activity. They had an outdoor movie screen, popcorn, drinks & candy and we watched "The Love Bug" on blankets, it was a little bit chilly, but the kids had a great time. Saturday the kids played while I cleaned the house and then I took them miniature golfing and then let them pick where we went for dinner, and they chose McDonalds, of course to play. Then we stopped and got a movie to watch in the blanket hut we had made. Then Kayli, Tyler and I slept in the blanket hut that night. It was a good weekend.
