Kids Pictures, DONE!

Warning Grandma Janet! There is CUTE bare feet...
I finally went and got the kids pictures taken together. I am glad it is over with, we all survived and my goal was to get at least one good picture of all 3 of them, and I think we accomplished that. Zach was all over the place, climbing on everything, wouldn't hold still, tackling Kayli and Tyler, being a crazy, almost 2 year old. But we did it and we got a few cute pictures out of it, Yea!
Kayli 7, Tyler 5 & Zach 2 (almost)

I got this new Digital Scrapbooking software, Memory Mixer for Valentine's Day from Tim. And wanted to share my first creation with you. Zach and Paige's Birthday Party invitation. It was a lot of fun, and really easy. I thought it turned out really cute. I still feel like there is a lot more to learn, and I am not the quickest at figuring this kind of thing out, but it will be fun and one day, it will make all my scrapbooking really fast and easy, and hopefully cheaper.

My latest project...

Kayli finally has a "Girly Girl" room. I think it turned out really cute. I feel lucky to have found the perfect bedding, after a lot of searching. It is what inspired the rest of the room. It has been so fun to paint, and redecorate. (I even painted the ceiling). It is probably my favorite room in the house right now. It has taken a lot of time and work, but it is all worth it. Everyday I did a little here and there, now it is finally all finished. When Kayli saw it after it was painted and I got all her bedding put on her bed she said' "Mom, I think I am going to cry. It is sooo cute. I love it!" And she gave me a big hug. That thrilled me! We don't always seem to have the same idea of what cute is, so it feels great to know that she loves it and she is happy as can be with how it turned out. I have loved doing this for Kayli and I am happy it is finally finished. Now she has a room to herself and there won't be any brothers sharing with her anymore, it is too pink and has GIRL written all over it!

I went to a place called "Crafter's Corner" to make her letters. It was a lot of fun, and I think they turned out really fun and cute. Lot's of glitter and diamonds is all it takes to make Kayli happy. I also redid a lot of her previous decor', and frames thanks to Modge Podge and Spray Paint.

This is a before shot. The wall was actually a light blue, but it looks white. I love the new bright color!

St. Patrick's Day

I tried to think of some fun things to do for the kids today since it was St. Patrick's' Day. Of course I turned the milk green, so when I poured milk this morning they thought a Leprechaun had been to our house already. I slept with a green clip in my hair cause I knew the second Kayli or Tyler saw me they would be looking to see if I was wearing green, so they could pinch me. Of course they got Tim while he was sleeping. I made Oreo's with green frosting, and for lunch I made Tyler and Zach green Noodle Soup. Tyler thought that was pretty cool. I also made up clues for the kids to lead them to a Leprechaun's pot of (chocolate)gold. That was fun for the kids.

Kayli reading the note from the Leprechaun telling them what they were going to do to find the pot of gold.

Zach holding up his Leprechaun picture that they had to color to get their next clue.

The pot of gold was found!

Kayli ready for St. Patrick's Day. In her class at school each student has a secret Leprechaun and each day this week that classmate would secretly leave them a prize or treat in their desk. Thursday they will find out which classmate was their secret Leprechaun. I thought it was such a fun idea. Kayli got a pencil the first day, the shamrock headband yesterday and today she got a shamrock necklace. Her teacher is a lot of fun and has some great ideas.

Celebrating our 11th Anniversary!

Tim and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary this weekend. Tim's parents had our kids over to their house for a sleep over and to play with their cousins. Tim and I spent the evening together by going to dinner at ZTejas at Gateway then we did a little shopping and then stayed at Little America in a suite like we did on our Wedding Night. It was nice to be able to spend some time together alone. A big Thank you to Grandma and Papa for taking care of our kids for us so we could "get away." I guess 11 years ago I didn't really think about where we would be 11 years later, but I feel we have been so blessed. We have 3 adorable kids, a beautiful home and so much to be thankful for. We have definitely had our share of ups and downs, but I feel that these times just make you stronger. I love my hubby so much and I appreciate all he does for me and our kids. Happy Anniversary Tim!

One of my handsome little guys...turned 5!

I took Tyler to get his "5 Year Old" Pictures. He has the funniest personality, he made me laugh the whole time, what a cute little goof off he is. We are so blessed to have him in our family, he is such a caring, loving, easy going, full of energy, loud, crazy, adorable, little boy with a huge imagination. I must add, he has the cutest freckles ever! I LOVE them! I can't believe our Tyler is 5!

Tyler's 5!

Happy Birthday to Tyler! He turned 5 on Friday. He decided he wanted to have a Robot themed birthday this year. I had to be creative for this one, I had a hard time finding robot birthday party items, but everything turned out great and Tyler was thrilled. He had a party for his friends that afternoon, then he wanted to go to McDonald's for dinner & then that evening we had family over for cake and ice cream.

Tyler requested pancakes for breakfast with a candle in it.

Tyler has been asking how many days until his birthday for over a month, finally it was here. He was very excited.

The robot cake I made...Tyler named it "Robo"

The cupcakes I made for his birthday party with his friends. Since I couldn't find any toppers I made my own picks using stickers.

Tyler opening his presents, Zach kept trying to open them before Tyler could.

Tyler wearing his fun birthday hat he got at Preschool.

I had to take a picture of some of the Legos Tyler got, they are so fun.

For Tyler's birthday party I had the kids all make their own robot control panels. They turned out really cute. They played games, danced like robots, played pin the head on the robot, ate cupcakes and Tyler opened presents from his friends. He got a lot of fun things.

Tyler and his friends dancing like robots.

Grandma Janet gave him some Star Wars toys, and Star Wars shirt with shorts.

He got this fun bouncer from his cousins, aunt and uncle. He is such a goofy kid!

Tyler got XBox "UP" from Papa and Grandma Hall

Time for cake.

My dad and ReNae sent money for Tyler to spend on whatever he wants.

Thanks everyone for celebrating with Tyler and for all the great presents, he loved them all.
