I started and survived my first week of my 5th and last Semester of Nursing School. I am super excited to be almost finished, but super nervous; I have tough classes, a lot of hours required for my Capstone, community hours to be completed and my NCLEX boards to pass at the end of all this. I feel very lucky that I get to do my Capstone/Preceptorship in Labor and Delivery department at U of U. It is going to be an amazing learning experience! I have some really great instructors that are very supportive that I am super excited about. Thanks for all the love and support! We got this!!!

Happy 13th Birthday Kayli!
Happy 13th Birthday to our beautiful Kayli! Really we can't believe we have a teenager already and we're wondering why she had to grow up so fast!?!? Kayli is such a smart, creative, artistic, kind-hearted friend to everyone, loving, helpful young lady...she's a huge blessing in our lives. We LOVE this girl to pieces!
She had a fun filled day of celebration, in fact, everyone celebrates her birthday!
After eating orange rolls for her birthday breakfast we went sledding to 2 different hills, back up to "Sprucewood Mountain" for a bit and then over to "Suicide Mountain." It was so much fun! Then we grabbed some lunch at Del Taco, relaxed at home for a bit and went to Charlie Brown movie that afternoon. Of course we went to Noodles and Company for dinner (her fav), then went shopping for goodies to dip in chocolate fondue, came home and had her Birthday dessert...chocolate cake and chocolate fondue. That was fun and so delicious! Then we watched Ant Man, and stayed up well past midnight to ring in the new year! Such a fun day!
Sprucewood Mountain
Suicide Mountain (our kids named it that cause from our house the hill looks super steep and looks like it runs straight into trees) It is such a fun, fast hill to go sledding, but it is a beast to climb back up.
Tim went out into the open area at the bottom of the hill and made R+T in the snow, how sweet is that?!?!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2016
Sledding...Brrr...FUN!
A few days after Christmas we went to "Sprucewood Mountain" with the kids (and my niece Jessi, who came to stay with us for a few days) to do some sledding. We had the entire hill to ourselves for quite awhile; we had such a fun time!

Christmas 2015
We had a wonderful Christmas this year, although it came and went too quickly. We have a lot to be grateful for and feel very blessed for being able to make such incredible memories and carry on so many fun traditions we have created over the years.
The kids pick out a new ornament each year to hang on their tree. It's always fun to see what ornaments they pick. It makes for a very fun tree, this is a favorite tradition of mine!
Every Christmas Eve the kids get to open a gift that has new pajamas in them, and then that evening we go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then to Temple Square to see all the lights. Then we came home ate our cheesecake for dessert, put out cookies, milk, and carrots for Santa and his Reindeer and watched Joy to the World.
Christmas morning at our house...the kids woke up at 7 brought their stockings into our room and looked through them with us and then we all went out to see what Santa brought...
Kayli and Tyler got Ollie's and Zac got Skylanders Superchargers
We had a wonderful day at home on Christmas. We relaxed, played with our new toys and gifts and just enjoyed being at home together.
Grandma Janet had an Ugly Sweater party this year. It's always fun to get together with my family. Thanks Grandma Janet for the nice gifts.
We all went over to visit my dad and ReNae and gave them a framed collage of all the grandkids photos we had taken together. It turned out so cute! They gave our family this very nice framed picture. Love it! Thanks Dad and ReNae for the wonderful gifts!
Michelle (Tim's sister) had a hot cocoa and cookie party at her house
and the cousins opened their gifts they got from each other.
