Fun in the Snow

A few weeks ago we got quite a bit of snow. I was so excited to not be pregnant this winter so I could go out and play with the kids in the snow. We have a great hill in between our house and the neighbors, so Tim blew up the kids snow tubes and they went riding down the hill. I even took a turn. It was a lot of fun.

Kayli's "Friends" Birthday Party

Kayli had her "friends" birthday party today. There were 15 5 and 6 year olds (actually one of them was 3, Tyler). It was a lot of fun. We played lots of games like Musical Unicorn (musical chairs but with stuffed unicorns), Oink Piggy Oink, Pin the Horn of the Unicorn, and a few other games. They had the most fun just playing with balloons, trying to keep theirs up in the air. Then Kayli opened presents, and then they had sugar cookies since Kayli doesn't like cupcakes. It was a fun party!

"Grandad" (Tim's grandfather) passed away a few days ago. Although it was expected, it is still very sad to have him gone. He had such a special relationship with Kayli, they both adored each other, it was very sweet to see them together. He lived in England so we didn't get to see him as often as we would have liked. But he was in our thoughts quite often and Kayli mentioned him all the time. He will be greatly missed.

Zach's 9 months!

Wow, little Zach is 9 months already. He is just about to start crawling, although we are not encouraging it. I am not ready for him to be totally mobile. It is a lot easier to keep an eye on him when he doesn't go very far, very fast. He does get up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. It seems like he is about crawl and he goes backwards instead of forward. He is such a fun baby, and is still the happiest baby! He definetly has a permanent smile on his adorable little face.
