Our very own Mr. Elf

This is Mr Elf. Santa sent him to our house on Dec. 1 to keep an eye on Kayli and Tyler, to make sure they are being good. Every night he goes back to the North Pole to tell Santa how they have been. Each morning Mr Elf hides in a new place waiting for Kayli and Tyler find him. He has been helpful in reminding them to be good, because if they aren't he will tell Santa. It has been really fun having him at our house. It will be sad when he leaves our house on Christmas Eve, until he returns next year. You should all tell Santa you want an elf at your house next year. Your kids will love it!

Our Christmas Village

We set up our village last weekend. We think it turned out great. It is always fun to come up with new ideas and ways to set it up each year. Of course it is much better to see it in person. We had Tim's family over on Monday night, and made up an "I Spy" game to see who could find everything on the list first. It made it really fun and everyone really got a good look at it.

Let it Snow!

We had a great snow storm Saturday. It snowed all day. Kayli and Tyler were so excited to go out and play in the new snow. They got bundled up in their boots, hats, gloves, snowpants and coats. They had so much fun throwing snowballs, buliding a snowman, making snow angels and building a snowcastle.

I have been tagged!

I was tagged by Sara so here goes...

The rules when you are tagged:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. My biggest pet peeve: People who write checks at the check-out stand! I have yet to figure this one out. Debit cards have been around for several years now. Writing a check is such a process, you have to fill it out, they have to check your ID, they have to write your DL # on it, then the expiration date, then they have to print out a receipt for you to sign anyway, doesn't it just make sense to use a debit or credit card, save us all some time!

2. My vice: licorice & chocolate! The two best sweets in the world!

3. My luck: I have the two cutest kids in the world, and a great husband! Kyli and Tyler keep me busy and make me tired, but they make life so much more fun. I feel so lucky and blessed to have them in my life. We are expecting number 3 (a boy) in April. We are very excited about that. I feel very lucky that I get to stay home and raise Kayli and Tyler, thanks to my wonderful husband that works so hard for our family.

4.My favorite show: Prison Break! Michael Scofield, he's really hot!

5. My dream vacation: A 2 week cruise. I think cruises are the best vacation in the world and 1 week is never long enough. Although I couldn't leave my kids that long right now.

6. Person I admire most: Tim, cause he puts up with me! ;-)

I tag Janell, Lori, and Michelle

The beginning!

Thanks to Sara's encouragement, I have finally got our family blog started. I am still trying to figure it all out, but I think it will be a fun way to share what is happening in our lives, with everyone.
