Hall Family Halloween Party

Our Family... Tyler-Messenger of Death, Zach-Mad Scientist, Kayli-Fairy, Me- Scarecrow Girl, Tim- Hippie

This year I volunteered Tim and I to do his family Halloween Party. I was very excited and put a lot of time and thought into it. I thought it turned out really fun and I think everyone had a great time as well. We had a costume contest, went on a Scavenger Hunt, had spooky finger foods to eat, played games and danced. Everyone looked great in all their costumes.

I think everyone's favorite part was the dancing with fun music and strobe lights!

Adobe Halloween

Tim's Work does a huge Halloween Celebration every year. It is always fun to go and see what theme all the different departments come up with each year. Tim's dept. did Hollywood Premiere. The dressed up as different characters you would see on TV. Some of the other themes were Angry Birds, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Where the Wild Things Are, Toy Story and the scariest was a Pumpkin Patch. They go all out...painting, building, hauling in all sorts of "stuff". It is amazing. On top of all that they have boxes of candy everywhere. Outside by the tents they have ice cream, cotton candy, drinks, clowns, jugglers, a guy with a huge snake and tarantula to keep you entertained while waiting. Here are just a few pictures I took...

Angry Birds Seasons... they had big sling shots and stuffed "angry birds" that you could shoot. They had all the different season throughout. The kids loved it!

Harry Potter Theme was cool. They gave out wands and you got to ride on broom sticks as you walked through part of it. This is quidditch they had set up.

This is the only shot of the "Nuclear Quarantine" Theme. This was the scariest part. They had Zombies and creepy things all over hiding, jumping out, grabbing you as you walk by, etc. It was awesome! Kayli and Zach were scared and wanted to get out fast.

One Department built this slide and had straw bails and cornstalks everywhere, and had a rope swing to play on. Who would ever guess that all this is indoors amongst the cubicles that they just push aside and then hang up black plastic and decorate.

Carving Pumpkins

We helped the kids carve their pumpkins a few nights ago. Kayli and Tyler drew the faces they wanted and then Tim and I helped them carve them out. I did a Batman pumpkin for Zach. They turned out really cute this year!

Hard work eh, Tyler?

Kayli wanted to do as much a she could on her own this year.

Ooey Gooey Fun!

Zach at the Pumpkin Patch

Zach's Preschool took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch last week. He loved climbing all over the pumpkins and pretending to drive all the different tractors and pushing pumpkins around in his wheelbarrow. We also got to walk through a little corn maze. He is full of energy and a crazy boy which makes me laugh.

More Flag Football...

Tyler's Flag Football team did so well this season. It ended way too quickly. It was so much fun to go and watch their games. He can't wait to play again.

Fall Soccer

Kayli just finished her fall soccer season. Her team was the Purple Poison. She had a new coach and new all girl's team this year. It was a hard adjustment and she really missed her old team and especially her old coach. Kayli loves the game and really enjoys playing!
