Movie Night...

Kayli invited several friends over for a "Movie Night" to celebrate her 9th Birthday. It was some crazy fun. There were 14 of her friends that came. We played "spin the bottle" so when the bottle pointed to them they drew a paper out of a cup and it had something funny or embarrassing they had to do. Then they had cupcakes and Kayli opened her presents and then they watched the movie "Dolphin Tale." We gave the kids each several tickets to "buy" candy/popcorn/drinks at our concession stand. I think everyone had a fun time.

Here are some pics of the kids while playing spin the bottle...each kid had a turn at doing something, these are just a few I took pictures of...

Kayli and Berklee had to eat Zotz, a super sour candy.

Kayli and Olivia singing Twinkle Little Star like Chipmunks

Carter had to dress up as a princess for the entire game

Isak and TJ had to dress up as cowboys with their stick horses.

Kayli got lots of fun gifts from her friends...jewelry, lip gloss, a Barbie, clothes, games, art stuff.

Cupcakes...

I designed the cupcake picks on my computer and just printed them out on photo paper and cut them out. I was so excited how cute they turned out.

The decor

The concession stand...popcorn, drinks, red vines, and all sorts of other candy. I just labeled everything with how many tickets for each item. So throughout the movie the kids could come and pick out whatever they wanted. (Sure hope no one went home sick)

I made this cute banner that says "Movie Night"

Kayli turns 9!!!!

We can't believe our little girl is 9! She had a great birthday! She opened her presents and then we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then Grandma and Papa Hall came and took her to Noodles and Company for lunch. For dinner we took the kids to McDonalds for Happy Meals and then we had Tim's family over. We had cake, opened presents and then all the cousins played and danced and we celebrated New Years together.

(Kayli wanted a triple layer chocolate cake for her birthday. It has to be the best chocolate cake recipe, plus chocolate cream cheese frosting, delicious!)

For her Birthday Kayli got new Bunk Beds for her American Girl Dolls. I painted them and then made the cute bedding to go on them. They turned out really cute. She was very excited. Tyler got her a new calendar and BYU earrings, Zach got her a feather for her hair. She also got some socks and a soccer shirt.

Tim had created a treasure hunt for Kayli to find her last present. He had her looking all over the house for new clues...

The last clue led her to the bike shed where she found a new bike. She was so excited!

Grandma Janet gave Kayli a Caboodle engraved with her name, and full of nail polish, hair stuff, earrings and money.

The cousins had fun dancing!

Dancing in the dark with glow sticks! The kids loved it, especially the little ones.

Christmas with Coleman Family

For Christmas from my dad and his wife ReNae, invited all of our families to the Cache Valley Fun Park the day after Christmas for pizza and fun. The kids ran, climbed and slid down all the soft play, tried out roller blades, played arcades and lazor tag, and we had pizza and soda. The kids had such a fun time playing with their cousins. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
Mommy helping Zach on roller skates. Um, didn't work to well. But it was fun trying!
