Christmas Eve with Family...

We spent Christmas Eve with Tim's family. We ate lots, played lots of fun games, did a gift exchange, watched a few short Christmas messages, and reenacted the Nativity. It was a fun evening for all of us...
The cousins coloring our table cover with crayons and markers.

All the family sitiing around a huge table for Christmas Eve Dinner. There was so much food, and it was all very yummy.

The cousins all picked names for a gift exchange. Everyone received fun gifts from each other.

Tyler got a motorcycle and a squishy frog and lizardy thing from his cousin. This look on his face says it all, he loves it. Everyone is learning of his strange love for "squishy toys."

I made this tutu and a pink one for Tori and Alyssa with fairy wings to match. I thought they turned out pretty cute.

Zach got a lift-the-flap Little People Book, Kayli got a stamp set with markers.

We did our best at reenacting the Nativity. It was fun for the kids, it is something they look forward to doing. Here are some pics of the fabulous costumes we came up with using dress-ups, fabric remnants, and anything we could find.

Our Christmas Village

This is our ninth year at putting our village together. It has grown so much. I was just looking at our book we have made of it since our first year doing it, it is amazing how much it has grown, and the creativity that has changed it so much. This is my favorite year so far for sure. Tim did an amazing job.

Snow Fun

It snowed yesterday and the boys were so excited to be out in it helping Tim shovel. Then it snowed more over night, so they went out to play in it this morning. Zach is so little and his snow clothes are just a bit big, so he can hardly move, but he still had a good time and threw a fit when I brought him in after playing.

Holiday decor and fun!

Every year we decorate the kids bedrooms with lights, snowflakes (made by kayli this year), and paper chains. They also get to decorate their own little tree in their room with ornaments they have picked out every year. This year Kayli picked a diamond tiara ornament, Tyler picked a blue airplane, and we picked a little truck for Zach. Their room turned out so fun, and the kids love it!

Family Christmas

We went up to celebrate Christmas with some of my family in Logan. My dad and ReNae made us a yummy dinner and then the kids took turns at breaking open the snowman Pinata. We watched Merry Madagascar (very cute short film). Then the kids opened their presents. They had a great time playing in their big boxes, having races in them, and just being silly. The cousins had a great time playing together. It was nice to visit with my family.

Kayli broke the snowman open on the second time around.

Candy!

Gingerbread House...

We decided to decorate a Gingerbread house this year. Kayli loved decorating it, but it didn't hold Tyler or Zach's attention very long, so it ended up being Kayli that did most of the decorating, while the boys played. I thought she did a great job. It turned out really cute!
