I started my 4th Semester of Nursing school today. One more to go after this one. It's hard to believe I'm finally a 4th. This is the semester everyone looks forward to, but after today I'm feeling overwhelmed and a bit frightened; this is getting real! We have a lot more expected of us, and really it's just crazy to think in less than 8 months I will be an R.N. with the responsibility of saving peoples lives...somehow! I have some great classes this semester and fantastic instructors. I am taking OB (maternity), Pediatrics, Med Surg/Adult Care, and Sociology, and 2 simulation classes that are hands on with life-like simulation patients, super cool! This semester I have clinicals in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Neonatal ICU, Peds at Primary Children's Hospital, Neuro Rehab and Surgical Transplant. That just means a lot of really neat experiences and so much to learn from. I have had some great experiences in all my previous clinicals last Semester, and also had some great nurses as proctors to learn from. I am looking forward to see what this Semester has in store.

Football getaway!
Tyler had a football game in Park City this weekend, so we decided to make a weekend of it. We stayed at the Park City Marriot...went swimming, goofed around, got lucky somehow and got upgraded to have access to the Concierge Lounge which meant free drinks, snacks, dessert and breakfast-all for FREE! It was awesome. We had a fun little getaway. The hotel was nice, especially the pool. We basically had it to ourselves. On our way home we stopped at the Olympic Park to check it out. We had never been there before, it was cool and very interesting to see everything!
Tyler #66 plays Center, Tyler had the coolest tackle in this game, it was awesome! I wish we cold have videoed it. He basically jumped onto of the guy running full speed and just pulled him down to the ground... I can't even explain it-had to be there. Who'd of thought Tyler, our quiet, kind hearted, easy going boy, would love football so much!
I need this bed at home, maybe Zac would actually stay in bed, ha ha
