Tyler turns 6!

Tyler turned 6 on Saturday. Lucky for him he got to celebrate Friday and Saturday. Saturday morning when he woke up he was so excited to open his gifts. He got a DSi and 2 games, a squishy frisbee and sticky stretchy had from Kayli and Zach. He wanted to have a chocolate muffin and scrambled eggs for breakfast. The rest of the day he got to choose what he wanted to do. We went to the pet store, went to the store so he could spend a gift card he got for his birthday from a friend, went to Fong's (his favorite restaurant) for lunch and then we played outside, rode his new scooter, we played freeze tag, some other games outside. Then we went to dinner at Chick-fil-A with Grandma and Papa before going to a wedding reception of one of Tim's friends. It was a fun day. Happy Birthday Tyler Boy!





Today I was looking through all of Tyler's pictures of him over the last 6 years. It was so fun to see him in all the pictures growing up so big, so many pictures made me laugh and smile. It's easy to forget how little they were not so long ago. Tyler is such a sweetheart, and a lot of fun. We love him so much! Here is just a couple of pictures of him when he was a baby.



This weekend I was thinking about the day he was born and how I remember so much of that particular day. He was 4 weeks early, so it was quite the surprise for us to have him so soon. We just love having him in our family!

Tyler's 6th Birthday...

The day before Tyler's actual birthday he had his party with friends at Jungle Jim's Playland. He invited 10 friends. They rode rides, ran around, opened presents and had Jungle Cupcakes. It was a fun place for these little kids. They all had such a fun time. Best part about it was I didn't have the mess!







That evening we had our families over for Birthday Dessert and to play Kinect to celebrate Tyler's Birthday. Tyler LOVES cookies so for his cake, I made 2 giant chocolate chip cookies and we had milk and served ice cream with them. Yummy! It was a fun day for Tyler!




Tyler got some great presents from everyone... razor scooter, GIANT stuffed dog, lava lamp, Legos, bow and arrow, and a DSi game and money.

Ugly Sweaters and Birthday Celebrations!

I went to Logan with Kayli and Tyler to celebrate my sister, Jenn's birthday. I picked her kids up from school and we decorated her house with streamers for when she came home from work. Then that night Jenn and I met 2 of our childhood friends, Amy and Suzie at Olive Garden for Jenn's B-day dinner. It was so fun to see them, we had some great laughs while reminiscing all the fun and crazy things we did as kids. Then we decided to go shopping, and we ended up at the DI. We found ourselves looking at all the racks of not-so-cute sweaters. We laughed and laughed all night long. We had such a fun time together. We got home about 11:00 to find our kids all still awake. The next day Jenn made waffles and of course we had to add the candle in hers, cause it was officially her birthday. My mom came and took us to lunch at Texas Roadhouse for her birthday. Then we drove out to see Suzie's brand new "Beautiful" home. It was fun spending the weekend with Jenn and celebrating her birthday. Thanks for the fun Jenn, Suzie and Amy!
