Kayli came up with the idea to have a snowflake themed birthday party with her friends this year. We played lots of fun games, made necklaces, and had cupcakes. I think the kids had a great time, but there were 16 kids that came and that was A LOT of 6 & 7 year olds.

making Snowflake candy necklaces.

Marshmallow Snowball Fight! The kids loved this part the most I think.

This was such a fun party to plan, so anyone with a winter birthday this is a great idea. In November I started looking for anything "snowflake" that I could use for the party. I found most of it at the Dollar Store... Snowflake ornaments big and little to hang from the ceiling, silver white and turquoise streamers and balloons, snowflake cups and napkins, for the goody bags for all the kids to take home I found snowflake cellophane bags and filled them with knit gloves in turquoise or white, snowflake suckers, "wedding bubbles" and I added snowflake stickers to them, winter colored Hershey's kisses, turquoise and white candy canes and chocolate covered marshmallow snowman. For the cupcakes I used foil cups, blue sprinkles and edible snowflakes.
