Memorial Day 2013

We had a nice Memorial Day. My sister, Jenn, Scout, Kit and Grandma Janet came down. We set up the pool so the kids could splash and play, they played on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it, they rode Rip-sticks, played Lego's. etc, and we sat and enjoyed the sunshine. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and had all the yummy "summer BBQ" food. The hamburgers seemed extra tasty, probably cause I haven't had one for such a long time, it was delish! Then we all went on a bike ride on the trail by our house. We stopped at a park along the way so the kids could play, then we rode home and had caramel brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was such a fun evening hanging out with some of my family. The cousins always have so much fun together!
 Yay for Summer BBQ's

Watch our Kindergarten...Here comes Zach!

Our handsome Zach is ready for Kindergarten...actually this smarty pants is way ready for Kindergarten. He has learned so much at Preschool this year. He is a great little reader, and LOVES to read, and we love to hear him read to us. His Preschool Program was Wednesday. It was so cute! When he walked out in his cap and gown, I couldn't believe how cute he looked. I had a mommy moment, tears and all. The cap and gowns were a surprise and I thought it was the cutest thing. The program was adorable and Zach even sang and danced every song they sung...didn't expect that at all. It has been an awesome year of Preschool. I am sad it's over. I have LOVED his teachers and so has Zach. They are amazing, fun, loving, PATIENT, and taught him so much. Savvy Kids Preschool is by far the best Preschool any of my kids have attended. Way to go out with a bang!
We are so proud of  Zach! What a little man!
Zach with Ms Jenn. Zach absolutely loved her. They became super close and she adored Zach as well. He even asked several times if she could come over to play. Love that.
Zach with Ms Tara. She was Zach's "main" teacher. Zach was so full of it at school this year and yet they absolutely adored Zach with his fun loving, energetic personality.

Kayli's Gymnastics Spring Performance

Kayli had her Spring Gymnastics Performance Monday. It was so fun to go and watch her and all the other girl's. Kayli's performance was to Star Wars. It was fun to see how much she has learned since her last performance in December. She loves gymnastics and has a great talent. We are so proud of her and her hard work.

Mother's Day Cruise

My sister, Jenn and I went on a cruise last week to the Bahamas. It was the perfect way to spend Mother's Day. We had a lot of fun, we laughed a lot, ate a lot, and relaxed a lot! The weather was perfect for us the entire time.
Yep, Lobster...thought my kids would be impressed.

Late night cookies and milk (Jenn laughing so hard, I am sure everyone thought she had way to much to drink, little do they know, who needs alcohol for a good time, just cookies and milk apparently.
Our first day we spent on Great Stirrup Cay. NCL's private island. It was such a fun and relaxing day!
Relaxing on the beach of Great Stirrup Cay...ALL DAY!
 and snorkeling...

We rented these mats for the day, it was one of our favorite parts of the cruise
 me falling off...

Our 2nd day was Nassau, Bahamas. I was so excited to be here. It is such a beautiful place!
Bus ride to Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas
I have seen this place so many times and we are finally here, so excited! (Pic taken from ship)
Hard to tell in this pic but the ocean is right behind us. Absolutely beautiful resort!

Time to play with the Dolphins at Dolphin Cay at Atlantis
Very cool way to spend our Mother's Day. This is me and Tamara, a mommy dolphin with  2 babies.
 Feeding Tamara a fish

Mother's Day Dessert
Enjoying our Mother's Day dessert in our room, we were so stuffed from dinner, but felt like just had to eat it.

Tim wrote me a letter to open each day I was gone. On the 2nd day, these pictures my kids had drawn were in the envelope so I could hang them in our cabin (tape too). On Mother's Day he had a memory card with short video clips of my kids wishing me a Happy Mother's Day. So cute!!! I loved it. How many dad's out there think of that, thanks Tim.
So sad our vaca is over...It was a trip to never forget. I had such a fun time with my sister. It was a nice break to get away from everything for a few days. We had a blast!

Tyler's 1st Cub Scout Space Derby

Tyler was able to participate in his 1st Cub Scout Derby a few weeks ago, this year it was a Space Derby. He came in second in his first round, first in his second round, and second in the semi finals. It was a lot of fun to watch all the rockets the boys had created from a block of wood.
