Fun in the rain at Real SL

 We took Kayli, Tyler, our nephew Greyson and niece Brook to the Real SL soccer game on Saturday with my sister Jenn and her daughter Kit. About 10 minutes into the game there was rain and lightning so they had to postpone play for about an hour, so we hung out under the bleachers. Finally the game started again and we all had a great time watching it. It was very wet and chilly but a lot of fun, AND they won!

Zach's First Day of Pre-K

The long awaited day finally arrived today...Zach's first day of Pre-K. Ever since his preschool orientation a few weeks ago Zach has been waiting anxiously to start school. He was so excited. When I dropped him off he didn't even want to take the time to say bye to mom. He saw some cars on a play road mat and he was off to play. He is at a new school this year and I am so excited for him, his teachers seem wonderful and it looks like a fun preschool, with a great curriculum.

Tyler's New Room

 We moved Tyler to the basement a few months ago. After making sure he liked sleeping down there we had to make it "cool" for him. I found him a bedding set he loved and went from there. The room needed new paint on ceiling and walls and I was sure happy to have that part of the project complete. Then it was the fun part...decorating! I think it turned out great. There are just a few final touches I still need to make but Tyler LOVES it!

Labor Day 2012

For Labor Day weekend this year we were up in Logan for our twin nieces blessing. On Monday we took the kids to Minnetonka Cave by Bear Lake with my brother and sister and their kids.  The cave has 444 stairs one way so we did a total of 888 stairs and the year round temp is 40degrees so it was a bit chilly. I had been there a few times as a kid, but this was Tim and our kids first time. Everyone loved the cave and thought it was pretty cool.

 After the cave we drove to a trailhead and hiked to Bloomington Lake. It was beautiful!!! A small lake set back in and surrounded by mountains and trees. (These pictures don't do justice)
