Candy Factory

One afternoon last week Tim and I took the kids (and Kayli invited her friend Avary)to the Sweet Candy Company for a tour of the factory so we could watch them make candy. Everyone had to wear a hair cover, even Zach. It was so big on his little head that we had to tie a not in the back to get it to stay on. It was a lot of fun. The kids loved it, especially because they got a lot of free candy fresh off the line as we walked through the facility. It was very interesting, and fun to watch everything. It made us all hungry, it smelled so good.

Zach's 5 months...

Miniature Golf

We took the kids miniature golfing on Saturday. They had so much fun. It was fun to watch them! I wish we would have thought to take them earlier in the summer, guess we will have to take them a bunch before it's too cold.

"Too cold for Sprinklers"

9:00 a.m. this morning (being Lobor Day, about 60 degrees outside, and the coldest day of the summer) Tyler insisted he wanted to go out and run through the sprinklers. We tried to tell him it was cold, and that it wasn't a good idea, but he kept insisting that that is what he wanted to do, so I told him OK, and for him to go get his swim trunks on. Tim went out and turned the sprinkler on for him, and he ran around it a few times, until he agreed with us that it was cold. I just hope not to many of our neighbors were watching, that would have thought we had lost our minds.
