Kayli's 12th Birthday

Happy Birthday to our Kayli! We can't believe she is 12 already. She is so excited for this Birthday. She can't wait to leave Primary and go to Young Women's, and she wants to wear mascara. She is such a beautiful girl, but she is growing up way to fast and is definitely getting a bit of a pre-teen attitude, but we love her so very much and are so blessed to have her in our family. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then she opened presents, then Grandma Janet came by for a visit and then took her to lunch and some shopping and then we went to see Night at the Musuem 3 and to Noodles and Company for dinner, and then we went to Kneaders for Birthday dessert. Then we came home and watched a movie until it was time to celebrate the New Year. Happy Bithday Kayli!

We got her a very nice art set with an easel, with all the colored pencils, pastels, shading pencils, etc., Chuck Taylor's, boots, clothes, wallet, headphones, mascara, makeup bag, and lotion.

Her new Beehive leader brought these balloons to Kayli to welcome her into the Beehive class. She couldn't be more excited!

Christmas Eve

I love our Christmas Eve traditions, each year the kids get to open a gift with new pj's. They are always excited to see what they will look like. We spend the day playing and just spending the day together playing games, etc. Then we go to Cheesecake Factory and Temple Square. This year the weather was perfect for walking around Temple Square. Then we come home to set out cookies and milk for Santa. It's always a fun, exciting day together!

Tyler's 4th Grade Holiday Program

Tyler's 4th grade class did a Holiday Program with singing and dancing for the parents. It was really cute, they spent a lot of time working on it. Tyler did a Russian dance with all the boys. It was fun to watch them, they all did great! Tyler had a fabulous teacher this year, she is wonderful!

Spending some time with sharks!

We went to check out the new Living Planet Aquarium here in Draper last week. It was really cool and there was soo much to look at... sharks, penguins, fish, frogs, reptiles, lobsters, shrimp, crabs, birds, turtles, etc. It was a lot fun!

1 semeseter done, 4 to go!

This was me on our "Heart Day" at nursing school. This was so fascinating to me, to check out these hearts, cut them open and see how incredible this organ is. I really enjoyed learning so much my 1st semester and this was a highlight. School was tough and such a drastic change going from mom to student and a mom. It was tough, and more time consuming than I ever imagined, but I did survive and actually pulled off great grades (a lot better than I thought I would) all because of a lot of prayers and a super supportive family. I am so happy for the break until I start my 2nd semester in January.
Tim had these beautiful flowers for me when I got home after taking my last final, so sweet!!!

Watch DOGS

Tim signed up to be a Watch DOG at Zac and Tyler's school. It's a volunteer program at the school where dad's volunteer a few days during the school year and spend the entire day helping in classrooms and at recess. The boys were so excited to have dad at school with them. Tim got to eat lunch with boys and spend time with them in their classes and play with them and their friends at recess. I think it's great, and I know Tim enjoyed it! (Dec. 4th)

Fall Leaves 2014

Time for a little catch up... The boys out raking leaves and playing in the backyard enjoying the beautiful Fall weather, helping dad get the yard ready for winter...
Tim found this huge caterpillar in our tomato plant. Tyler named it Heimlich and decided to keep it in a jar as a pet for a few days, and then he let it go!
