Moab

I took Kayli and Tyler to see my sister Jenn and her family in Moab over Memorial Day weekend, with my mom. The kids love going down there to spend time with their cousin's and I like just relaxing and spending time with my sister. The kids hiked around and played on the rocks next to their house, played in the mud and sand, and just had so much fun spending time with their cousins. Here are just a few pictures I took. Jenn also has the funnest scooter, of which I am completely jealous. I loved riding it around, as did Kayli and Tyler... I told them to come home and tell daddy how fun it was and that mommy should get one. We'll see. I sure missed Zach and Tim, but we had a great time! Thanks Jenn for the fun weekend!

Tyler's Preschool Field Trip

Tyler's Preschool went to Wheeler Farm for their last field trip. Kayli was off track so I thought it would be lots of fun to take Kayli and Zach. We saw all the animals, and of course it being Spring there were lots of baby animals to see. They also took us all on a wagon ride. After seeing everything we all sat on the lawn and had a picnic. It was a really fun morning. The kids loved to see all the animals.

Some of the kids feeding the ducks. (A parent brought 15 loaves of bread for all the kids to feed the ducks.

Family Pictures

We finally did it and all survived. Boy was I happy when it was all done. I have been wanting to get a new family picture, but the thought of trying to get pictures done with a 1 year old and a 4 year old scared me a little, but I thought they turned out great considering someone was either not smiling or looking the other way. We had them taken at Wheeler Farm. That was a fun place, the kids loved it there. Our pictures were taken by Teresa Meyer, so if anyone is interested in using her, the link to her blog is listed on the sidebar. She did a great job!

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day. Tim took good care of me and did everything he could to let me "take it easy" for the day. My cute little family made me feel so special and loved. Kayli and Tyler made me cute little gifts at school, and they were so excited to give them to me. We had church early so when we got home I opened their gifts to me. Kayli gave me a new pink camera case, Tyler gave me 2 pairs of earrings (they both picked out their own gifts to me), Zach got me new earpieces for my IPod, and then from everyone they gave me a "Willow Tree" angel holding a baby. I loved it all! After lunch I watched Lin King with Kayli and Tyler in the tent. For dinner we went to Tim's parents. All Tim's family was there, and the guys made dinner for all of us. It was very nice. We played games, and just enjoyed being outside. It was a nice day!

Fun with my family...

We went up to Logan on Friday to spend time with my family. We stayed at my dad's house who just happens to live next to my brother Jeff and his family. We had a really fun time. The kids always get excited to go see Grandpa and Grandma, and to play with their cousins Abbey, Jessi and Cassie. My dad and ReNae had a cook out on Friday night for all of us, and the kids had so much fun playing together. My dad got his four wheeler and "train" out and took the kids and some of us adults for a ride, which is a must when we go up there. We played games and ate lots of yummy treats. Saturday morning Sara and I did our race, then we all went to the Farmer's Market, and then to lunch at Juniper Take-Out, another must while up in Logan. It was a fun time. Thanks dad and ReNae for letting us stay and for taking such good care of us. We all had a good time!

5K

Saturday morning I ran the Smithfield Health Days 5k with my awesome sister-in-law Sara! (Jeff's wife). It was really fun to be able to run a race with her. We did better than we thought we would. Although she beat me by 2 seconds, next time I will beat her! The race started at Mack Park and went up Smithfield Canyon, and then turned around and came back. It was a chilly morning, but we loved it. I can't wait for the next race. We placed 10th and 11th in the women's. I thought that was pretty good for our first race. I have actually started training for The Provo River 1/2 marathon in August. I love having a goal to work for, it definitely keeps me motivated. Thanks Sara for the fun run!!!!! We will have to do another one soon.

Zach's First Steps!

Zach took his first steps yesterday morning, and I missed it. I was out running and when I walked in the door Tim told me Zach walked 2 steps to him. I was sad for a second that I missed it, but then I was just thrilled that he was finally going to be walking, and few were the days of crawling on dirty floors, and outside! We got him to take 6 steps to me shortly after. Yeah Zach! I just have to laugh at all the funny little milestones your little ones reach that get you so excited! (Zach 12 months old)

"Rodeo Day"

On Friday it was "Rodeo Day" in Kayli's Kindergarten class. I thought she looked so cute so I wanted to post the picture I took of her before school.

Tyler's First Soccer Game

Tyler played his first soccer game on Thursday. It was so fun to watch all the little 4 year olds. Tyler got frustrated cause he didn't get to kick the ball as much as he wanted, but he did great and got some big kicks in there.

At the Park...

One afternoon last week Heather Deputy brought Asher and Oaklie over to play with Kayli, Tyler and Zach. It was actually sunny so we walked down to the park. The kids all had a great time playing.
