Zach's last day of Preschool

Zach riding his bike to school on the last day...
I can't believe preschool is over already for the year. Zach loved going to Preschool and made lots of new friends. He had a fun teacher Miss Hilary. She was so patient with our crazy, energetic Zach. The hardest part for Zach was learning to leave his friends alone and that carpet time wasn't time to wrestle, play with the girl's hair, hug, and lay all over everyone. He had to learn to sit on his pockets with his arms folded. I would ask him daily what he did and he would tell me he folded his arms. He just loves to play and thinks it's no fun to sit and listen. Spring Soccer

Kayli is playing soccer again this Spring. She loves it and has a fun team. They have won a few and lost a few. It is a lot of fun to go and watch her play. She is a speedy little thing (I think she gets it from her mom).
Draper City had a Real Salt Lake Clinic Night, where a Real SL player and some staff came and taught the players drills, and played some games with the kids. Kayli got to meet Real Salt Lake's Nat Borchers and get his autograph on a poster and he signed her jersey. She thought it was so cool.
They used a gun to see the speed the players would kick the ball into the goal. Kayli is in front of Leo the Lion.

Tyler's 1st Grade Program

The 1st grade presented their program, Once Upon a Lillypad this last week. It is one of the cutest plays. Tyler and the boys in his class were Otters. They all sang lots of cute songs, had a dancing part and had a short speaking part.

Mother's Day Weekend 2012

I had a very nice "Mother's Day on Sunday...notes, cards and cute gifts made by Kayli, Tyler and Zach. Tim got me a wall mirror and an iTunes gift card so I can redo my iPod with new songs for running, very excited about that. We went to the park for a picnic dinner and had cherry cheesecake for dessert. Perfect day! I am the luckiest mom in the world. I have such amazing kids, and they mean everything to me and I feel so blessed to have them, I love them sooooo much!
This was such a fun Mother's Day weekend this year. I had planned our annual Mother's Day lunch at Maddox for Saturday with my sister Jenn, my mom, Aunt Linda and my Grandma Shaw. Jenn and I decided to make a weekend of it, so we took our kids to sleep over at my mom's house. We had a pizza picnic and then we all dressed in black and with 6 walkie talkies we broke into groups and played spies throughout her condo complex. Once it got dark we played "Kick the Can" then took a late night trip to Smith's to get treats. The next morning we went to McDonald's for breakfast and to let the kids play. The kids stayed at grandma's and played "Office" while we went to our Mother's Day lunch at yummy Maddox.

Kayli's 3rd Grade Mini Golf Extravaganza

All the students in the 3rd grade at Kayli's school had to come up with a mini golf hole for their Mini Golf Extravaganza. It turned out awesome! All the students brought their projects to school this morning and all the other grades in the school got to play mini golf. It was a lot of fun to see all the creative ideas her classmates had.
