Kayli's Christmas Tumbling Performance

Kayli had her Tumbling Christmas Performance on Monday night. It was such a fun routine to the song "Let it snow."  Kayli did great and nailed it perfectly! She has learned so much, works so hard and is a lot of fun to watch.

Our very own Super Hero's

Kayli, Tyler and Zach are always having so much fun together doing crazy funny things. This has to be at the top of the list of their best ideas. It was so funny when we saw them. Kayli will be so mad if she finds out I blogged this, but I just can't help but share. It makes me laugh!

Christmas with Grandma Janet

We had my family's Christmas Party on Saturday at my mom's. We had pizza, salad and bread sticks and then I made red velvet cupcakes for dessert. The cousins were so excited to see each other. They had a lot of fun together. Grandma Janet was so generous, everyone loved their gifts! Thanks mom!!!

The Hall's are Decked!

We absolutely love this time of year at our house. It is so exciting to put up the Christmas tree and all the decorations! LOVE LOVE LOVE  it all!

This is the mini village for the year.

This is the kids tree, they pick out an ornament every year to add to the tree. Such a fun, cute tree!

Thanksgiving 2013

Thanksgiving 2013 at Mimi's Cafe in Layton with my mom, Dave, and Jenn and her kids. It was a yummy Thanksgiving, and fun to spend time together. The best part was no preparation, no clean up and Tyler and I learned we love Pecan Pie.

Thanksgiving Gift 2013

Last year we started the tradition of giving our kids a Lego Winter Village set to open on Thanksgiving so they can put it together and play with it through the Holiday season. This year they got the Christmas Tree Lot and Village Market. It was fun to put the new sets together as well as last years. They were so excited and had such a fun time putting it together on Thanksgiving and the day after.

Pie Party 2013

Tim and I decided to have a "Pie Party" the weekend before Thanksgiving. After eating so much on Thanksgiving there's not much room for dessert, so we decided to have a night where we just eat pie! We invited my sister and her kids, Stratton's and Brewer's over. We had 7 pies...they were all so delicious. We will definitely have to do this again next year.

We had Lemon Meringue, Peanut Butter, Double Layer Chocolate Cream, Razzleberry, Pumpkin, Apple, and White Chocolate Macadamia

Kayli Hall, Century Link CEO for the day!

This was one of the most exciting days for Kayli! She was CEO of Century Link for a day. She thought it was the coolest. All the 5th graders at her school spent the day at JA City, which is at Discovery Gateway. They learned certain roles in a company, worked, and even got paid, and during their breaks they got to shop and spend their pay checks at the other companies.
She is such a beautiful CEO!!!
They learned how to write checks, fill out deposit and withdrawal slips, opened their own checking account and had their own credit card for the day. She learned so much and loved every minute of it. Tim took the day off work and was a parent volunteer for Zion's Bank. I think this was such a fun experience for these kids to learn so much and have such a blast doing it.
This was Kayli and her employee passing out phones to some of the companies at JA City. Some of the other companies were Questar, Real Salt Lake, Zions, RC Willey, Best Buy, Maverik, & Select Health to name a few.

N.O.V.A Graduation

Sandy City Police sponsored a program at Kayli's school for the 5th graders called NOVA. It stands for Nurturing Opportunities Values and Accountability. They learn how to be good citizens, holding their values high, making good choices and being accountable for the choices they make. Kayli learned a lot and really enjoyed the program. In order to graduate, one of the requirements was to write an essay titled "My road map to the path of excellence.", and Kayli's was picked as a top essay in her class. For "Project NOVA" they got to make a rocket if they chose to. Kayli's turned out pretty cool, she did hers out of duck tape of course. The students voted on the best rockets and she won an award for that as well . Hers came in 2nd in her class. Another challenge they had in order to make the "NOVA Pack" and earn an Elite award was no "electronics" for 7 days...no TV, movies, internet, computer, tablet, phone, etc. It was tough, but Kayli did it! All on her own, her choice! I couldn't be more proud of her and the hard work she put into NOVA. I was a proud mom at her graduation as she excepted her awards, and certificate. She couldn't have done a better job!

Shower Remodel

We did a bathroom remodel this last week. We had our bath tub/shower torn out and replaced it with a beautiful tiled shower...

We love it! It turned out so nice, probably better than I imagined it would be.
