I took Kayli to the Jordan River Temple today for her first time to do Baptisms for the Dead. She was really nervous; not knowing what to expect. She loved all the older ladies that were so sweet and helpful. She said she could really feel the spirit as soon as she entered the water. The worker who was doing the baptisms knew it was her first time and so he took a few minutes to explain why we do baptisms for people that have passed on, and then held her up so she could see into the "Eternity" mirrors on both sides of the font. I loved that he would take the time to talk to her. She loved being able to be there and experience this great work. I am grateful I was able to take her and be there to experience it with her. She is excited to go back on Friday, bright and early at 5:00 a.m.,with the youth in our ward. I took her to the cafeteria after to get her a treat and of course she chose mashed potatoes and gravy. It was such a sweet experience with her I won't forget.

Holiday Hotel Hoorah!
We started a tradition last year of staying at this hotel in SLC after Christmas with my sister Jenn and her kids. It is the best hotel, perfect for Tag, Skeletons, hide and seek, and all sorts of fun, we also went swimming, had a pizza party and played table games. We had a blast, laughed a ton, and even managed to stay out of trouble this year. Can't wait to go again next year!
A little leapfrog down the hall and fun in the elevator!
