Tyler's First Day of Preschool

Today Tyler was off to his first day of Preschool. He was ready to go before it was even time, he was so excited this morning. He had his back pack on most of the morning waiting for me to take him. He knows he is such a big boy now. When I picked him up after Preschool he said he had so much fun...he got to paint, do puzzles, play on the monkey bars, jump on the trampoline and sang some songs. He said everything else was a secret. He is excited to go back.

I Am

I got this off my sister-in-laws blog and decided to do it, you should as well, kind of fun to read everyone's...

I am: 30 (only for one hour and 19 minutes), and a stay at home mom
I think: I love vampire books!
I know: I am very blessed
I want: to win the lottery
I have: so much to be thankful for
I wish: I could be on vacation with my family
I hate: onions
I miss: Jenn, my sister
I fear: something happening to my children or husband
I feel: like I didn't spend as much time with my kids today as I would like to have
I hear: Tim watching TV
I smell: pine-sol floor cleaner
I crave: licorice
I search: for anything on Ebay
I regret: not going to nursing school
I love: to watch and hear Kayli and Tyler playing together, and Zach's babbling
I care: about my family so much
I always: love snuggling with my kids
I am not: getting as much sleep as I would like
I believe: I have the most patient husband ever
I dance: wait, no I don't
I sing: to my kids and Tyler tells me to stop
I don't always: remember what really matters
I write: in my journal (not as often as I should, though)
I lose: my patience with people that write checks at stores
I win: for having the cutest kids
I listen: for Zach to cry
I can usually be found: at home
I need: to catch up on scrapbooking
I am happy about: losing 12 pounds since July!

Kayli's First Day of Kindergarten!

Kayli has reached a new milestone in her life, she went to her first day of Kindergarten today. She was sooo excited the day had finally arrived! As her mom, it is hard to be sad that my little girl is growing up, when she is so excited about this new adventure in her life. But I did cry a little, even though I didn't think I would. She couldn't wait to ride the bus to school this morning with all her friends. When I met her at the school after her riding the bus for the first time, she ran up to me and said "That was soo cool!" I just love how excited she gets. She is so lucky, she is in the same class with 6 of her friends from our neighborhood. When I got her off the bus after school, I asked her how her day was and she said "It was a piece of cake! It was so much fun!" Here are a few pictures I took of her this morning.

Ooey Gooey Yummy S'mores

On Sunday we went up the canyon for a cookout with some friends of ours, Heather, Justin, & their kids Asher and Oakley. We roasted Brawt's, had a salad, fruit, & baked beans. The kids loved playing in the trees and dirt, and especially roasting marshmallows for the s'mores. Ummmm they were sure good. It was a fun Sunday afternoon and evening.
