Nerd Day!
Friday was Nerd Day at school for Kayli and Tyler. It was fun getting them ready for school. They looked great and had fun dressing up.
Easter 2012
For Easter this year we wanted to do something different, so Tim and I decided to surprise the kids and take them to stay overnight downtown SLC. We booked a room at Little America. We told the kids we were going to go check out the new City Creek Mall, so we parked at Little America walked across the street to take Trax. Kayli was talking about how it would be fun to stay in the hotel and go swimming so we told them that's what we were going to do. They were so excited! We walked around City Creek for awhile and then took Trax back to our hotel and checked in. After dinner we went swimming and then had cookies and milk in our room. In the morning Kayli Zach and Tyler were excited to find out that the Easter Bunny had found them! They all got new PJ's, candy and chocolate! We had Cinnamon Knots and milk for breakfast.

Spring Break 2012
For part of Spring Break I took the kids to spend a few days in Logan with my family. We stayed at my brother Jeff's house. I have the best sister-in-law and we love to go spend time with their family. It was a fun few days. We played at the "Castle Park," rode bikes and plasma cars, died Easter Eggs, got donuts at Shaffer House Bakery and went to lunch to Fredrico's which are both musts when I go to Logan, and Kayli and my niece Abbey helped me make Zach's fondant Legos for his B-day cake. The kids played and played and had a great time. While we were up there we found out that Jeff and Sara are expecting "Twin Girls," that makes 5 girls! We brought my niece Kitara home with us to spend the rest of the week with Kayli.

Zach Turns 4!
Zach's Birthday couldn't come fast enough for him. Everyday for a few weeks before Zach's Birthday he would ask if it was his Birthday, so I made him a Birthday chain countdown and he could remove a chain everyday so he knew how many days until it was his Birthday. He was so excited when he woke up on his Birthday and saw that we had decorated...it was finally HIS Birthday!
I used fondant to make the Legos on Zach's cake. This was my first time using fondant and it was pretty fun. Kayli and my niece Abbey helped me make the Lego's and I am so grateful I had them there to help me, it would have taken me so much time. Thanks Girls! Zach LOVED it!
The one thing Zach really wanted!
Waffles for Breakfast...Zach's favorite!
Grandpa Randy and Grandma ReNae with Zach and his new Jeep they gave him.
We celebrated Zach's Birthday at a Park the night before with family. We had pizza and cake and then flew kites and all the cousins played. Zach got some fun gifts from everyone...a pool, hero factory guys, a helicopter, bug catcher, and water gun.
Make a Wish!
