This weekend we took the kids to stay overnight downtown at Marriott
City Center or "The Big House," as Zach would call it. Our room
overlooked Gallivan Plaza so we could watch the ice skaters and see the
lights. As we were walking through the Plaza to catch the train we passed the 2News studio while Mark Koelbel was doing the 5 o'clock news. Kayli, Tyler and Zach went and stood right behind him so they could be seen on TV. They thought that was pretty cool. We rode the train to City Creek to get dinner and walk through some of the stores and then walked passed the
Christmas candy windows at Macy's. It was fun to see the candy decorated windows again.
Then we went to Temple Square to see all the lights. It started to rain
so we walked around for a short while then took Trax back to the hotel
and went swimming. We let the kids stay up and got up in the morning and
rode Trax back to City Center for breakfast at Kneaders. We walked
around City Center some more and then came back to the hotel to go
swimming and then we all went ice skating at Gallivan Plaza. Zach and
Tyler didn't love it so much, but Kayli LOVES ice skating! Zach wanted
to ride the train more, so we took Trax for another ride to go get lunch
before heading home. Zach was so sad when it was time to leave the "Big
House," he cried and cried. We had a great weekend of fun. Hopefully a
new tradition for us was started this year. We look forward to going back again
next Christmas season.

You are lucky to be able to spend so much quality time together. Great pictures of having so much fun. I love it. I still have never ridden on Trax, maybe someday.
