4th Semester!

I started my 4th Semester of Nursing school today. One more to go after this one. It's hard to believe I'm finally a 4th. This is the semester everyone looks forward to, but after today I'm feeling overwhelmed and a bit frightened; this is getting real! We have a lot more expected of us, and really it's just crazy to think in less than 8 months I will be an R.N. with the responsibility of saving peoples lives...somehow! I have some great classes this semester and fantastic instructors. I am taking OB (maternity), Pediatrics, Med Surg/Adult Care, and Sociology, and 2 simulation classes that are hands on with life-like simulation patients, super cool! This semester I have clinicals in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Neonatal ICU, Peds at Primary Children's Hospital, Neuro Rehab and Surgical Transplant. That just means a lot of really neat experiences and so much to learn from. I have had some great experiences in all my previous clinicals last Semester, and also had some great nurses as proctors to learn from. I am looking forward to see what this Semester has in store.

You are amazing! Doing this just blows my mind. Three semesters behind you and two to go "YOU CAN DO IT". So proud of you. It is fun to see how much you love this kind of stuff. So many of us could never do it, but we are glad there are people like you willing to learn how to save us. Good Luck this semester and the next!!!
